€œTowerFall Ascension€ is an archery combat arena game developed by Matt Thorson. The game includes four game modes. The game allows up to four players fight in a battle royale with a limited amount of arrows. However, the players can replenish their arrows from those shot around the arena as well as catch other players′ arrows. In single-player, the player must hit targets placed around the arena before the time runs out.

€œMetal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes€ is part of the sub-series of prequels in the Metal Gear series, taking place after €œMetal Gear Solid: Peace Walker€ and is developed by Kojima Productions. In the game the players have the ability to access the motherbase from their own smartphones. The game also features a real-time day and night cycle and will have a much more open-world.

€œYaiba: Ninja Gaiden Z€ is a third-person combat game in the Ninja Gaiden series and is developed by Team Ninja, Spark Unlimited, and Comcept. Players have the ability to run, jump, block and attack enemies with a blade. There is a new mode called €˜Bloodlust′ which allows the player to destroy multiple enemies around them in quick succession.

€œInfamous: Second Son€ is the third game in the Infamous series and is developed by Sucker Punch Productions. The player begins with smoke element powers, but can later obtain other powers by defeating conduits. The upgrade system is in a branching path format with more abilities and skills available than previous games in the series.

€œDeception IV: Blood Ties€ is the sequel to €œKagero II: Dark Illusion€ and is developed by Tecmo Koei. The game is based on strategy in which the player must lure out enemies into a variety of traps. The game features of variety of traps such as electrocution, springboards, spiked walls, fire, rolling boulders, human cannons, banana peels, locomotives, falling bathtubs, and an iron maiden.

First-person Shooter

(3/11/Tuesday) Titanfall (Xbox One, PC)

€œTitanfall€ is a first-person shooter multiplayer game developed by Respawn Entertainment. The player has the ability to either fight on foot as €˜Pilots′ or inside agile mechs called €˜Titans′. The game is online multiplayer-only, but adds single-player elements such as plot, character dialogue, and NPCs. The game has 15 maps, 33 weapons and three Titan classes (the ponderous Ogre, the nimble Stryder, and the agile Atlas).


(3/14/Friday) Yoshi′s New Island (Nintendo 3DS)

€œYoshi′s New Island€ is the successor to €œSuper Mario World 2: Yoshi′s Island€ and is developed by Arzest. Like previous Yoshi games it features a hand-drawn art style and backgrounds stylized as crayon drawings, oil paintings, and watercolors. A new feature added to the game is €˜Mega Eggdozers′ which are giant Yoshi eggs that are able to hit and destroy obstacles in the way.


(3/25/Tuesday) BlazBlue: Chrono Phantasma (PlayStation 3)

€œBlazBlue: Chrono Phantasma€ is the third game in the BlazBlue series and is set after €œBlazBlue: Continuum Shift€ and is developed by Arc System Works. The game features several revamped mechanics and five new characters: Azrael, Izayoi, Amane Nishiki, Kagura Mutsuki, and Bullet. There has also been several new songs added.
